Benefits

Pay and Allowances

Job Corps pays each student a living allowance twice a month while in the program. But just like a real job, taxes are deducted from this allowance.

Housing

Our center can house 160 male students and 32 female students in three dormitories (two for male students, one split dorm male and female students). Each dormitory can house up to 64 individuals with up to four people per room. Each dormitory facility also has their own bathroom/shower facilities and a community room with televisions and computer access. During their leisure time, students have access to the Student Activity Center that offers a large community room with vending machines and a library.

Meals

Our students are provided three nutritious meals each day at no cost in one of the best cafeteria facilities in Job Corps.

Wellness Center

The wellness center is open daily for basic medical, dental, and optometrist services which are provided free to our students. The wellness center also provides 24-hour emergency medical services. Weight management, smoking cessation, pregnancy prevention, and other health-related programs are also available.
